Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In: 3:00 PM Check-Out: 11:00 AM Late Check-Out Hour: 12:00 PM Late Check-out Fees: 50%

Late check out (after 11:00 AM and before 12:00 PM) may result in a fee.

Property and Cancellation (Below Rates may or may not be available at the time of booking)

Our cancellation policy for Standard Rates is as follows:

For any changes or cancellations made less than fourteen(14) days in advance (3PM), your 50% non-refundable deposit will be considered the cancellation fee.
For any changes or cancellations made within 72 hours prior to arrival will result in a full 100% charge for room, taxes and fees.

Our cancellation policy for Advance Purchase Rate is as follows: 

The Advance Purchase Rate is an offer that requires full prepayment at the time of booking and is non-refundable, non-cancelable, and non-modifiable.

Our Flexible Rate is as follows:

Book our Flexible Rate and cancel up to 5 days prior to arrival for a full refund. Special rate plans are subject to their own cancellation policies.
Our cancellation policy is stated on our website as well as the confirmation email you will receive upon booking.
When you book a room at The Menhaden, you are agreeing to our terms and policies.

Amenity Fee

An Amenity Fee (Mandatory) of $40 per room, per night, plus tax will be applied to your stay and includes bottle of spring water at check-in, hi-speed Wi-Fi, selection of snacks and beverages in our curated guest galleys, along with on-site parking (first come, first serve). Seasonal amenities include bikes and in town transportation in our Moke, beach passes, chairs & towels (first come, first serve). 

Pets

Pets are allowed in designated rooms only, and arrangements to secure a Pet-Friendly room must be arranged with the property directly, by calling (631) 333-2777. Pet-Friendly accommodations will not be guaranteed without direct conversation with the property. One pet per room, must be under 25 lbs. A Non-Refundable $75 Pet Fee will apply to the reservation. In the unlikely event that one of our visiting pets disrupts other guests staying at the hotel, we do require that the owners remove or stay with their pet to prevent any further disturbance.

Room Capacity

Standard occupancy is 2 persons per room. Select rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 3 guests. Our Double Queen room can accommodate up to 4 guests. There is a guest fee of $250 for each additional adult (age 16 yrs. and older) per room over 2 persons in our King & Queen rooms, and over 3 persons in our Double Queen room; this fee includes a rollaway twin bed upon request. There is a guest fee of $60 for each additional child (age 15 yrs. and younger) per room where a rollaway bed is requested. Rollaway beds available upon request for rooms with 2 adults for $60.

Parking

On-site parking available first come first serve basis and cost is covered under the Amenity Fee. There is a designated pickup and drop off area within the on-site lot. There is also conveniently located overflow municipal parking available within a short distance. Please call or text message the property directly to answer any questions.

 

Terms & Conditions

No Smoking

This hotel is 100% smoke free and does not allow cigarette smoke or any other vapor producing product in our hotel. If there is physical evidence, smell of smoke or other smoke producing products found in my guest room during my stay or after I check out, I will be liable for a $250 penalty fee. I have read and understand the hotel’s 100% smoke free policy. Additional fines may be imposed on you by the local authorities should the fire alarm be triggered from your room.

Personal Items

This hotel assumes no responsibility for loss of money, jewels, or other valuables, and a safe deposit box is available upon request at the reception desk. The Hotel is not responsible for contents left in your room or vehicle on property. The property is not responsible for unclaimed items after more than 14 days from the date it was turned in.

Hotel Property

You will be held liable for any items missing from the room after your departure.
You will be held personally liable for any damage to the room and charges incurred thereafter.

Booking Confirmation

Must be 21 yrs. or older. You are required to provide a valid form of identification and a major credit card to hold the full amount of your stay’s expected room and tax charges, plus an additional $50 per night for incidental charges. Although the hotel will release any unused portion of these funds upon check out, it may take up to 30 days for your bank to return these funds to your account. Upon completion of a reservation, a confirmation number is supplied to the guest via telephone or email.

Group Room Blocks
